GACA and Matarat Holding Company participate in the World Defense Show in Riyadh

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and Matarat Holding Company are participating in the World Defense Show in its first edition, which will be held in Riyadh from 6 to 9 March 2022, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (may God protect him). The show is organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI).
 
The pavilion of GACA and Matarat Holding Company will showcase the civil aviation sector strategy and shed some light on the investment opportunities available in the sector. This in addition to highlighting the Kingdom's hosting of an aviation summit of global importance in 2022.
 
The pavilion will include the national strategy for the civil aviation sector, a presentation of the latest modern technologies in the field of airport security and aviation security programs. This in addition to an overview of the civil aviation sector's projects in building, developing and improving the Kingdom's airports.
 
The show will also highlight the security and safety standards of the civil aviation sector, in addition to displaying opportunities for cooperation between the civil aviation sector and the military sector by working to develop new opportunities in the Kingdom and enabling one to support the other for economic growth.  GACA pavilion includes, the Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation, Matarat Holding Company, Riyadh Airports Company, Jeddah Airports Company, Dammam Airports Company, and the Second Airports Cluster Company.
 
It is worth noting that the World Defense Show, which is the leading global event in the defense and security sector, will showcase the latest defense and security industry technologies in the fields of land, sea, air, space. Furthermore, it will shed some light on information security, in an ideal environment for communication, innovation and stimulating partnerships, as well as reviewing the capabilities of operational compatibility systems, which are among the most important trends in the global defense and security industry.
