GACA: Passengers must disclose to the competent authorities the amounts of cash and precious metals in their possessions.

 The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) issued today a circular to all airlines operating in the airports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including private aviation, regarding the necessity of disclosing cash, jewelry and precious metals that exceed the permissible limit allowed.

 

The circular stipulates that airliners must educate passengers departing and arriving in the Kingdom of the necessity of disclosing to the competent authorities the amounts of cash, jewelry and precious metals that exceed the permissible limit according to the regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
