The Director General of Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific praises the developments at the Kingdom's airports

The Director General of Airports Council International for Asia Pacific, Mr. Stefano Baronci, praised the rapid developments in the Kingdom's airports, including infrastructure, engineering designs, and innovative electronic and digital technologies aimed at facilitating travel procedures and improving passenger experience.
 
This came during his visit to the Kingdom, which included visits to several airports. He stressed that the rapid transformations witnessed by the Kingdom’s airports, from the development of airport infrastructure, the distinctive interior and exterior designs of the terminals, and the electronic and digital services provided to travellers at the highest international standards, positively reflected on the quality of life. It also becomes a preferred investment destination for investors from around the world, which will add new regional and international destinations for global companies.
 
The opening of the Security Control and Monitoring Center at AlUla International Airport is considered one of the most important comprehensive security projects at the level of the Kingdom's airports. It aims to provide the Kingdom's airports with the latest integrated security systems with each other electronically.
 
Mr. Baronci praised the civil aviation sector strategy launched by the General Authority of Civil aviation (GACA), noting that it aims to increase connectivity, infrastructure and quality of service to stimulate a positive impact on society and the economy. Saying that this will positively affect the air transport sector in the Kingdom, the Middle East region and the world at large.
