GACA Authorizes US-Bangla Airlines to Operate Regular Passenger Flights Between Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh Starting August 1

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), represented by the Air Transport and International Cooperation sector, has announced the authorization for US-Bangla Airlines to commence operating regular passenger flights between the Kingdom and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, on the Dhaka–Jeddah route, during the 2024 summer season. The airline will operate seven weekly flights, with one flight per day, starting from August 1.

This step comes as part of the General Authority of Civil Aviation’s continuous efforts to enhance air connectivity and link the Kingdom with the world, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aim to position the Kingdom as a global logistics hub, open new horizons for travel, and support the goals of the National Aviation Strategy.
