His Excellency the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Duailej, met today at the Authority’s headquarters in Riyadh with the attendance of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Dr. Rumaih bin Mohammed Al Rumaih, and the participation of the CEO of the Saudi Railway Company, Dr. Bashar bin Khalid Al Malik, with Dr. Chandra Shekhar Kumar, Secretary of the Ministry of Minority Affairs in the Government of the Republic of India, to discuss ways to advance bilateral cooperation in the civil aviation sector.

The meeting addressed joint coordination for air transport services provided to pilgrims from the Republic of India for the 1447 AH Hajj season, as well as mechanisms to facilitate their arrival and departure through the Kingdom’s airports. The two sides also reviewed several topics related to enhancing air traffic and expanding avenues of cooperation between the two countries in a manner that serves their mutual interests.
