Certification of Aerodromes


This service exaplians the aerodrome certification process under applicable regulations.

Airports Operators
1- Airport operator submit the application form for certification (form 1596) and the Statement of Compliance form (form 1631).
2- After reviewing the application form and the Statement of Compliance form, Airport operator submits Aerodrome manual, Aerodrome Emergency Plan (AEP) manual, and  aerodrome Safety Management System (SMS) manual.
3- After reviewing the manuals, Certification inspector conducts an inspection of the aerodrome.
4- After ensuring that aerodrome comply with all requirements, GACA issues the certificate.
