Main Goal of the Academy
The main aim of the Academy is to meet the needs of the General Authority of Civil Aviation for manpower and to provide its employees with the knowledge and the skills required by the international regulations and standards of Civil Aviation to maintain the safety and security of civil aviation in the airspace of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Moreover, it aims at making the Academy a main tributary in developing the sciences of aviation at the national, regional and international levels; and to resettle the technical industry of civil aviation in the Kingdom.
Specific Objectives of the Academy
- Implementation of the approved plans to meet the needs of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and the specialized recipient manpower in the fields of civil aviation sciences
- Development of the performance of the Authority_s staff and the recipient workers in the fields of security and safety of airports in the Kingdom in accordance with international standards
- Designing and developing the training curricula to meet the needs of the Authority_s specialized personnel in the fields of civil aviation in accordance with international standards.
- Development of work methods and workers at the Academy_s centers and departments , and to attract qualified professionals to serve at the Academy.
- Ensuring the development of international cooperation with regional and international bodies specialized in civil aviation training to benefit from their expertise.
